Presentation to Gorebridge Historical Society

IMG 0008 456x299The Gorebridge Project Manager gave a presentation to the Society at Gorebridge library.  This generated a discussion about the history and heritage of the town and the need for a base for some of the archive material that the society has collected over the years.

The idea of a heritage trail was discussed and a guide about the conservation area.  The Society is also interested in the idea of a local heritage centre/museum that could house the archive material collected.  The old station house in Gorebridge was mentioned as an opportunity for some kind o community/heritage use.
